I just had to tell you what a relief it is to find The Art of Touch Massage. After only my second session with Lani, the chronic tension in my mid/low back finally began to melt away. I'm extremely pleased with how much better I feel during the day and how deeply I sleep at night. My posture and workouts have also improved substantially. Lani has a keen intuition for working the tension out of muscles. In fact, she has found and worked out muscle knots I didn't know I had. It's clear to me I'll need several more sessions because I endured the discomfort for far too long and developed tight spots in my neck and upper back. So, if I could share some advice with people who are reading this wondering if they should make an appointment, it would be:
Call. Now. Your body will thank you.
On a practical note, I truly appreciate your flexible hours and convenient Midtown location.

I have been having upper back pain and both X-rays and MRI showed no problems. That was the good news. Bad news is I am still having pain and tightness. I thought a massage would be good, but where to go? I chose The Art of Touch based on the reviews on Yelp! Thanks fellow Yelpers!
I called and explained what I needed and was recommended to Sara. The center is in a nice, big old house. Such a relaxing environment the minute you walk in. After Sara and I talked a little about what I was looking for, she led me to a therapy room. The next hour was wonderful. Sara knew the spots to be gentle and the spots to really work hard. I literally felt the tension leaving my body. The time went by so quickly I couldn't believe it.
Sara has a new regular client and hopefully my back pain will soon be a thing of the past.

What a refreshing alternative to the chain spas. The space is beautiful - very soothing. The staff was warm and friendly. My back and shoulders were in knots after too many long hours sitting at the computer. Lana, my massage therapist, was able to work magic on my sore stiff muscles. I cannot recommend her or this place highly enough.

I discovered Shannon after hearing a glowing recommendation of her from one of her clients, who happened to be an acupuncture patient of mine. Once I met Shannon at my first appointment, I was immediately at ease and I knew I had found a wonderfully skillful and compassionate massage therapist. Shannon's pure enthusiasm for her work sets her apart from the rest. The Art of Touch Massage Center is a beautifully appointed facility that exudes a spirit of welcome relaxation the second you walk through the door. The person who recommended Shannon agrees with me that Shannon is the best massage therapist that we've ever seen. Do not delay to book your session with her. You'll understand what I mean.

It is extremely comforting to know that a place like The Art of Touch Massage center exists in Atlanta! I’ve had a number of massages from therapists before, but none compare to Shannon and her Art of Touch Staff. All are highly trained and possess a rare combination of true professionalism, clinical knowledge and an unparalleled dexterity. Furthermore, the atmosphere is extremely warm and comforting, so I feel right at home everytime. Shannon and the staff at the Art of Touch Massage are bonafide experts in their craft. I highly recommend that everybody should take an hour out of their busy lives and get a relaxing, mind refreshing massage from the Art of Touch.
I just want to thank you for the wonderful staff you have at The Art Of Touch. I visited Atlanta over the weekend from NY to see my Aunt who is 8 months pregnant. I treated her to her very first massage ever (she's 31) and she loved it. We had appointments on Friday my Aunt was thrilled to find out her therapist Lana was pregnant and they shared baby knowledge which my Aunt truly enjoyed. My Aunt could not stop talking about her amazing massage and her great therapist Lana ALL weekend. I mean, she must have said to my Uncle at least half a dozen times "Did I tell you about the amazing massage Leanne got me as a gift . . . it was soo wonderful." She said she may spring for a massage every week until the baby comes and I hope she does! Being a doctor and being pregnant she needs all the relaxation she can get! My therapist Anne was exceptional also. It was the best massage I've ever had! I look forward to treating her again when I visit Atlanta in October and seeing Anne and Lana. Thank you again for such a great place and a great staff! The experience was terrific.
